Do you make sure everything is in the right place and the warehouse runs smoothly? In this role as a reach truck driver, you are essential to the logistics process. You replenish stock for order pickers and ensure that all goods are stored neatly and correctly in the racks.

Functie

As a reach truck driver, you are responsible for replenishing and managing stock in the warehouse. You will spend a large part of your time operating a reach truck, combined with light administrative tasks.

Your tasks include:

• Loading and unloading trucks using a reach truck
• Placing goods in the correct locations within the racks
• Replenishing stock for order pickers
• Using a handheld scanner and PC for administrative tasks
• Checking and processing incoming goods

You ensure that your order picking colleagues always have the products they need and that the warehouse remains well-organized.

Working EnvironmentYou will work in a logistics environment with different temperature zones:

• Dry goods: approximately 18°C
• Chilled area: approximately 4°C
• Freezer: approximately -25°C

You will regularly switch between these areas. Working in cold environments is part of the job, and you will receive an additional allowance per hour for this.

The work is varied: you spend a lot of time on the reach truck, but you also get off regularly for checks and administrative tasks. During busy periods, such as when multiple trailers arrive, it is important to maintain a clear overview and stay calm.

Working HoursYou will work in a two-shift system:

• Morning shift: 07:00 – 15:00
• Afternoon/evening shift: 16:00 – 00:00

Important to know:

• Your start time is fixed, but your end time may vary
• Work is based on a “finish together, go home together” principle
• Sunday work may be required in consultation

• Valid reach truck certificate
• Experience in a warehouse environment
• Disciplined and reliable
• Accurate and able to maintain overview
• Flexible and willing to work in cold environments
• Stress-resistant and able to switch quickly during busy periods
• You speak Dutch or English

Wat wij bieden

• Salary of €15.58 per hour
• Additional allowance of €0.58 per hour for working in chilled areas
• Additional allowance of €1.32 per hour for working in the freezer
• Weekly salary payments
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (10 to 25 km)
